To achieve enlightenment in the Buddhist faith, you feel love and compassion for the whole world and its suffering.

Some believe that the only "true" love is the unconditional love a parent feels for their child.

As for romantice love. I haven't figured that one out, yet. I feel like I have been in love, more than once, but it hasn't lasted.
