The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other.

Ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then, as you like, post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

um the summer b4 my freshman year of HS - i was dating a guy (1st real datingthing), we were walking around the Arbor and he turns; looks at me and says "you ARE the perfect drug. Sweet pleasureable high when i'm with you and no withdrawl when i'm gone" ... he was a bit older than i. It stuck. At some point most of my S.O.'s have agreeed at least with the drug part. Perfection is a whole other story, and i agree people get addicted to something about me - don't know what it is - but the song lyrics have always sung to me =)

Hmph...

I was gonna ask the food question.

Who is your favorite author, right now? What is you favorite series of books, meaning but not limited to at least a triology? What is your single favorite book? Finally, what author had the most influence on your life?

Right now, I am successfully finishing more Neil Gaimen books than anyone else, and I am actually enjoying them. Favorite series, overall, has to be a tie between CJ Cherryh's Chanur books and Alan Dean Foster's Commonwealth stuff. (The Commonwealth stuff is uneven, but then he started writing it in 1972, and he is still publishing new material. It varies from stand alone novels, to trilogies, to longer series. I don't read all of it, but some of it is intertaining.) Niven's Known Space stuff is a close third, and is admittedly much better written than the other two, it just isn't as enjoyable because it makes me think more. I would have to give a lot of thought to favorite book; there are a lot of them. Robert Hienlein, no doubt has been most inflential. Made me look at a lot of things differently.
