phoenix_aroseSo i left austin thursday for a 3-4 day camp out
- i got out to the land about 7 ish the traffic was horrible, i fully blame that silly "sign-knocking-down" truck. But once i got out there it was so nice. went swimming while the sun set. Sat around the camp fire and talked and joked and drank. A friend showed up who had been ill in the hospitail the week before - looking fit as a fiddle. Woke up Friday morning to the wonderful sound of rain and the sudden realization that i had forgotten my coffee cup so unfortunately the Goddess Caffina's gifts were not mine that morning. I got to show off my new "bloomers" for lack of anything better to call them. they worked quite nice with the sweat shirt i had in my car- who would have thought that i would need a sweat shirt in July outdoors. The rain finally let up enough to run to my car and get my macrame stuff out and sit in the shade on the lower field -
After i bit i decided that a nap was clearly in order - so i joined D. for a nap - after words i joined friday after noon drunk club. that went on until the pot luck started, after which i started tattooing people - "pedophile piglet" is now on a fairy's rear end.
D. and M. built a wonderful fire considering that it rain off and on all day - i paid my homage to the lords of the flame and to "bed" early
Drove into work and my engine exploded - well i think a valve blew but i'm looking for a new used car because i don't think the bug is fixable - neither does my mechanic
Sunday was really not that interesting i worked and there next to no people in except the singers who were apparently in the mood for dirges.
Tonight i am going to teach my 2nd yoga class ever - it went well last wednesday so i'm going to keep doing them i guess.
My BF and her boy are going to be in town this coming weekend so hopefully i'll get to see her - that would be good i think
