phoenix_aroseI have spent the day going though our over/short report for the month of Jan .....
This is not really my cup of tea. you see money usally stresses me out a bit and at least at home matt and i have come to the wise choice that he deal with the $$$ and i'll only ask questions that won't stress me out. i still check the bank like i always do but by far and large Matt deals with the money.
I seem less stressed over the other peoples money thing - i guess that's mostly cause of all the checks we have in place. i know that wehn it says "BALANCED" on my balanceing board we are in fact balanced. so the cash thing is not scary anymore.
How ever how heard is it to close and freaking website ... now personally if you ask me the way we do this is grade A stupid but this is how non the less... if you want to buy something with your "overpriced" company card or your "nice but pricey" company card, we have to run the card through a web site. Now there is a problem here if you run it though the website and *forget* to run it through our POS system, it shows as and over for that day. If you run it through the POS and forget to actually chrage the card it shows up as a short for that day.
NOW if you do what is dumb ass did ... you run it through the POS AND the webpage but don't close it at the end of the night .... that makes and over/short half a month down the line. Which causes all kinds of choas. *mudderdumbf'ermudder*
Any way now iihave everything all straightened out there where no over shorts acutally...
That's right you heard me - my staff are balacing Gods! even if thaty are dumbasses some times
Oh and also- we had regonal walk through yesterday - for my part it went super good- except that the couting room(i.e. my office) looked a "little disorganized" and i think one sign was the wron price. but i can't feel too bad about either of those as when i left on Sunday it was spotless and when i got here everything wasn't pushed up against the wall and it was a little messy - i'd been gone for 3 days what can i say
