Explanation be hind the thoughts

i came in to work today to find a million things that required my attention immediately upon walking in the door, my new hire was waiting and i didn't have a drawer ready to my job because my GM hadn't logged off his drawer from this morning. After all the chaos had settled down (thank you loki), i discovered that all 3 managers had been in a meeting for over 4 hours, this had me kinda worried but i just kinda bore with it and figured they would tell me later.

about by 5 pm this evening the whole store knew what I knew at  3 pm . Ultimate Electronics will be closing 32 of the current 46 stores. this major cut includes all 12 stores in TX. We have 2 weeks where we will still be Ultimate Electronics then starting April 9 we go in to liquidation. So the good news for you out there reading this is you will be able to buy a TV for super cheap here in about  3 weeks.

They tell me i will continue to have a job until mid June or early July, at which point i shall receive a severance package. that's all good i can deal with that , and a few weeks of unemployment will make a very nice vacation. so if an one out here knows about a job that needs filling, let me know. I now have about 3 months worth of "official" management under my belt.(yay for lindseys)

so any way - that was my day how was everyone else's
