Magickal Studies - Tell me about the OTO and Crowley and Thelema

Okay - So I'm ready to admit - i'm a bad pagan - i have never really studied where modern paganism comes from. Why? well i'm elcectic so i just kinda do what feels right - always been that way - if i piuck up a book it's because it has something fun or cool i want to work with or just for fun.

I have heard of Thelemetic witches before, i know of some in real life. When i gave my self over to Bast some issues begain surfacing - people sujested that i look in to the OTO - i did but there is not info just out there about them that was easily digestible - i just got frusterated looking on line -


Now i am asking if any of you out there are willing to share - i need information - i'm being pulled that directiona and i want to undsertand more before i comit to that path

I happen to have a series of comic books called Promethia. It's written by a magician called Alan Moore, and in the series of the story, it explains Hermetic/Thelemic magic and philosophy in an artful and fairly straightforward way. If you're interested in studying up, I can lend them to you.

right now i'm just looking for general knowledge. Can something like that be obtained with out getting in to the organization. i wish i knew how to get in touch Walter5. he was honestly the 1st person who came to my mind.
