So the woofers get along like peas and carrots - they are in love and i realized how little i had been smiling

austin the new one is about a year old and still in fine puppy form - never had a bad day in her life EVER including when she's in trouble.

Getting her home from waco took the beter part of 2 hours ..... i lost a couple battles with the dog. she's small enough that in theory she cold sit in the pasanger seat and put her head in my lap while i drive ...... IF
.... she could sit still for more that 5 seconds at a time
.....i didn't drive a standered with 4x4 option she could accidently shift my out of gear or in to 4 whel drive at an unsafe speed
.... it wasn't windy on IH-35 driveing with large trucks at night at 70 mph in a "light" suv
.... i was more keen on dogs jumping all over me

I sustanined only minor injures i have a pretty severly bruised knockle on my left hand and a cut on my toe also found a quarter sized bruise on my right theigh, ant those were just getting her in the car to drive back. i had to stop several times to push her back in the the cargo area. i fianlly had to stop to get gas and had the brilant idea to attach the leach to the tire gates and then shut the hatch .... it allows her to move ing th cargo area but not long enough that she can actually get ing the front ! Bam - the trip from that point on whent much faster.

Got her home put dallas outside and brought her in and drumped them botht out there to get to know each other ... next thing i know they are just haveing a complete ball ... Dallas who is afaid of the dark was running around the yard at midnight with no lights on !!!

they are quite a pair i left them out ther for a bit so Austin could stretch her legs haveing been in a car for 4-5 hours, also so they would sleep ... i build her kennel i thnk i's upsid down ... she doesn't seem to care, well she doesn't care that it's upside down she does care that it's her bed right now - so does dallas for that matter.

At any rate i finally get the little darlings inside and Austin kenneled - Dallas refuesed to lay down so i gave up. i turned their lights off and went to go take a bath and call every one to tell them that i made it home in one peice and so did the doggie. when i got out of the bath - dallas had finally gone to sleep nose to nose with Austin thru the kennel door ..... they were so cute.

Morning came tossed both doggies out side let otu the cats .... milled about the house for a bit got dressed and load up both wooffers and went by work and then by petsmart

i needed dog /cat food and also cat litter doggie shampoo and cat treats - also wanted to look at getting a differnt training "collar" for austin. you see she pulls and at a 120 lbs she has more torque than i do and she has got such a hard head and we haven't quite established that i'm alpha yet - she pulls alot the choke collar really not that affective - unless it's a quick very hard pull that lifts her feeet off the ground .... which i'm not good at - so i'm looking at the one that goes over her mouth. it's not a muzzle it's a training lead and what happens is if she pulls it tightens down on her mouth which she doesn't like at all soo she gets the the whole no pulling thing and we can go back to the chain collar which is less disturbing to the general public.

so after i got the dogs settled down in the pet store i realized that therewas no way in hell i was gogint to be able to shop with both of them there. - put the doggies back in the car and get the pet supplies and then re laod the pets and food and drive home .

Feed the doggies breakgfast return the phone calls i missed and then ate some fudge and then napped as i was coompletely exhasusted.
