I've owned two Saturns

And was quite happy with both of them.

Since then, however, Saturn has been made "Genuine GM" and repositioned to replace Oldsmobile. Some of the newer models are essentially glorified Pontiacs, which is not what Saturn was supposed to be about.

Nevertheless, Saturn has been winning quality awards and critical acclaim, so I think it will work out fine for you.

The service department at Covert absolutely sucks. The shuttle service hours are barely adequate, and they will lie and tell you your car's ready when they want to send all the drivers home.

I believe CarMax has Saturn's blessing to do repairs and maintenance.
I don't recall whether they have shuttle service, but it just might be worth the hassle to make other arrangements.

my grandma has been with covert for years and never had a problem - but i see where that would be an issue

i have rental with my inuance company and the warnty on the ccar so tha's not a problem in this case
