We got a  storm on Friday night  and Saturday (day and evening) we got several hours of rain.

Also in belly bump land  after being poked on some more the ouchie spot  is a kidney(we are pretty sure) and weirdly it seems to be having contractions  it will get Hard and painful  then once i can get the pain to stop  it's soft again. Heat seems to help  but we don't have clue what it could be  but for now I've moved from concerned to curious, which is a much better  place mentally for me to be.

I have a super busy month with  docs , socially and work this month. We are stupidly busy at work and are likely to remain so till i go on leave. There is a wedding and birthday  stuff this month,  and i have dentist and OB stuff this month. Also i start my birth classes  yay

I'm starting to get a little bit nervous about labor (yes i have plenty of time left before then)  but I'm one month from my 3rd trimester.  I'm getting close  to bi monthly appointments  with the OB and I've suddenly realized that the  the end is coming and it will be here before i know it.

The birth classes will help with the nerves. You'll have your choices on what to do with this, from "no drugs" to "give me the epidural", which will be up to you and the doc.

I've seen both. I didn't have the epidural choice when I had kids and I've seen that option with my daughter and daughter in law. Marcia did it both ways, with and without drugs (the without was due to the anesthesiologist being in surgery and not available) and she managed with both.

Kimmi had Lexi with the epidural. She was up talking and playing cards with friends until they said "oh, you need to push". Silver was jealous since she had a stupid midwife who didn't listen to her or us and gave her demerol (we're allergic) and caused all sorts of havoc.

Be sure to have your plan AND a backup plan. Make sure your doctor and the nurses listen to you and to Jamie and that you are able to switch to plan B if needed.

It's coming soon, you're what, 17 or 18 weeks away, that's a short time to go. DJ is 16 weeks away herself, and going through this too.

My mom didn't have choices either 1st time was due to stupid doctor and the second time was due to being way to far in to her labor to get one. I'm planning on going no drug vag birth if it needs to change then it will. I've got just over 16 weeks left and I'm just ready to hold my kiddo now=) i was ready weeks ago to see him so the next coulple months will fly right on by thanks to work and I'll be at home with Aiden and celebrating James and I's birthdays
