9/11

two years ago today - life as we thought about it here in ther us changed forever. My lover and i woke up in time for me to take him work and me to my word religions class (we were studing Islam) as we werer heading out the door my mom called and told me to turn on the TV she was crying - i turned on the TV just in time to see the 2nd plaane crash - it was surreal this wasn't a movie those buliding were going to fall, will all those people in them. I had to go to class and the guy had to get to work - so sortly there after we left and i sat smack in the middle of Downtown Austin at the old ACC campus wondering what was going to happen hoping that the Pres wouldn't come to TX for a "little vaction" right now. down town was deathly silent - we had a short class and the next to were canciled - my proff was of Middle Eastern desent. my mom called and told me she would prefer if i would simply go straight home after my class witch i did i didn't go into work and i didn't leave the house the rest of the day i just sat there watching the TV amazed.

To those who gave their live on 9/11 and those who are still "overthere" putting their lives on the line - may what ever gods you hold dear bless you and watch over you.
