If you lose your job and have a saving account or money set aside, please use it to pay bills and rent  and not to buy video games , also looks for a in between job so you have a pay check during that month in stead of playing video games that you bought with your bills and rent money

I know that one from my son who has no sense at times. I have threatened to cut off the support money if they don't budget better. He's finally got himself together.

Now, the older son is going to get to find that out. He's living here and at his girlfriends at the same time and whining he has no money to move out, yet buying video games, movies, guitars, etc. Guess who gets the move-out letter...

I'm sorry this is so rough, sweetie. It sucks.

i think you should TAKE the Xbox360 that he bought with MY bill/rent money and sell it to make his rent/bill money. (we're talking about the same guy, right?) he's got mail over here, still, too.

there *have* to be consequences for this kind of thing - it's not a new occurrence. if it were in his name, he would have no electricity. can you shut off the breaker to his room?

huh.
i'd start looking for another room mate and tell this one that they owe the money by such and such time, after which there will be interest and an eviction notice.

but then, i have no patience for house mates. it's worse when they start off friends because then it affects the relationship and your ability to be an impersonally fair judge.
plus, being friends shouldn't make you responsible for the shit they don't want to deal with (jobs, money, stuff....).

that's totally the issue he one of James friends ..... and we have become his parents i don't want that and i bet he really doesn't either grumbles he started a new job yesterday .... it will get better from here
