but in this case it stands for hexidecimal -- where normal operations of math are normally dealt with in decimal for our brains, computers can get alot of information in a compressed format by using a 16 digit base.
thus you have 0123456789adcfeg yes thats right folks... letters are numbers too. no discrimination folks, its good for your computer.
