Bill Mann is the singer/guitarist and songwriter behind New York City's new rock band Bellyfire. With Dave Yantorno on guitar, Ian O'Neill on drums and Ben Zwerin on bass, their sound blends the energy of the late 60's with the contemporary edge of today's rock music. Playing locally at Continental, Luna Lounge and CBGB's one of the fans put it like this: "I got to CB's between songs and was hanging out with my friends up front when you guys started playing again, and you rocked. I really can't remember the last time that happened. Great playing, love the voice, beautiful songs, dug them all.... and Feed has taken up residence in my head... thanks for making me smile... looking forward to your next show!" -Emma - NYC.
Bill Mann, a Toronto native, is a multi-instrumentalist who began studio session work at the age of 16 during a period of intense singing and composing. Mann plays the guitar, drums, bass, on numerous recordings for up and coming artists, various independent film soundtracks and has toured across the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. He has played and worked with some of America's Premier talent including: Ben Jelen (Maverick), Ana Victoria (Arista), William "Bunny Rugs" Clarke (Third World), Stephen Harris (The Cult / Guns and Roses), Wayne Cohen (Curtis Stigers, Martin Sexton) to name a few.
Bellyfire's new 12-song disc entitled "FEED" is finally here and their songs are ready to lick your eardrums and send shivers down your spine.
